More about us

Come To One Of Our Practical Evenings

Practical Evenings offer a wealth of different opportunities. They provide chance to learn and grow through many diverse tasks,  to understand and solve problems with the help of others, to listen to other members explaining and demonstrating.

They are a real chance to progress and develop your personal photography.

Our well structured programme includes a variety of speakers

Our speakers are high calibre and highly entertaining and it is amazing the number of topics they speak about. They lead us into unknown and challenging situations.
They teach us the techniques to master our craft.

In our club it is easy to get to know other members

Members are happy to talk to everyone although equally able to respect your personal space.

Competitions

Competitions are a way of having fun and improving your photography skills at the same time. We run internal competitions which are critiqued by a judge who can give ideas about how you might improve. These competition nights are well attended because most members enjoy seeing other members work and joining in the commentary.
We also hold competitions against other clubs and members get the opportunity to enter National and International events.

We are always pleased to meet new or prospective members

Just come along to any of our meetings and introduce yourself.

We meet each Monday evening at 7.30pm (except Bank Holidays)

Our normal venue is the Canberra Club
